The Wall methodology was adapted for the Nicaraguan context and a Spanish facilitator guide was produced by Puntos, co-authored by Montserrat Fernandez and Suzanne Doerge . (See GUIDES for information on how obtain a Spanish guide) Women from 16 women's committees and organizations across the country participated in a facilitator training. Each team planned to facilitate a workshop with their respective organization. It was recognized that many women, especially rural women, have limited access to formal jobs so the workshop begins by asking about changes to the "cost of living", "public services" and "the way we make a living ". Care was taken to ensure that material would be accessible to women with minimal literacy skills.
